VC3 joins the City of Columbia Green Business Program

October 19, 2009

Over the past year, VC3 has taken many steps to ensure a greener work environment.  Some of the steps include installing programmable thermostats, installing printers with double-sided printing capabilities, recycling paper and aluminum cans, using water filtering systems instead of bottled water and turning off lights in rooms that are not in use.

To further our Green initiative, earlier this month, VC3 became a member of the City of Columbia Green Business Member Program.  This is a voluntary program to encourage businesses to take proactive steps to improve their environmental record while improving their bottom-line. The program recognizes businesses that operate in an environmentally friendly manner and encourage other businesses to adopt green business practices.
