Account Manager

VC3, an innovative IT services solution provider headquartered in Columbia, SC is seeking to fill an Account Manager position in our Decatur, GA office. This challenging position is responsible for assisting the Virtual Chief Information Officers (VCIOs) and Technical Team Lead in providing services to new and existing VC3 clients.

The Account Manager will be involved with a range of advanced technologies and will need to utilize excellent multi-tasking and communication skills to facilitate activities across departments. In this role you will be involved with client communications, resource scheduling, vendor management, purchasing coordination, entering contract information, performance-to-contract reporting, and various administrative functions.  This is not a sales role, there is no quota to meet!

Here’s what you will be responsible for:
  • Interfacing with clients and vendors to generate pricing information and present quotes
  • Assisting with the development of client presentations and contracts
  • Coordinating meetings, appointments, and events
  • Assisting in special or customized projects
  • Coordinating RFP/RFQ responses
  • Invoicing review and approval, including assisting clients with billing inquiries and working closely with the VC3 finance team
  • Managing client renewals
  • Conducting industry relevant research
  • Working closely with clients’ primary engineers and project coordinators to ensure client satisfaction
  • Acting as a contact between client, vendors, and VC3 resources

Here's the experience we would like for you to have:

  • 5+ years of account management, project management, or administrative/sales support
  • Advanced level: MS Office 365 (Teams/Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint/OneDrive/OneNote/SharePoint) skills

It would also be great if you had experience with any of these, but if not we will teach you:

  • ConnectWise
  • MS SharePoint
  • technology industry knowledge
  • familiar with ITIL practices
And, here is some additional info you will want to know:
  • Travel Requirements: as needed, must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.  Limited overnight travel.
  • Work Schedule: normally 8am-5pm schedule; limited weekends for events (trade shows, conferences)
