Drupal Developer

VC3, an innovative and growing IT services solution provider, headquartered in Columbia, SC is seeking to fill a Drupal Developer position to join our Web Development Team. As a Full Stack Drupal Developer you will be have the capability to work at almost any layer within the stack, from SASS/CSS, HTML5, and TWIG, right down to the server environment and hosting architecture. You will work with a team of designers and developers to develop new websites, maintain existing websites, and assist in the migration of Drupal 7 sites to Drupal 9.

Here’s what we need from you:
  • 5+ years of experience in development
  • Desire and ability to take the lead in project planning and development
  • Must be motivated, detail orientated, highly organized and able to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities in an effective manner with a high level of quality
  • Good problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members as well as interface with customers and other non-technical members of the organization
  • Desire to provide the highest levels of service to clients
  • Ability to grasp and learn new technologies quickly
These are the technical skills that you will need to have:
  • Drupal 9, Drupal 7, Back-End, web principles, Object Oriented Programming
  • Proficient with Composer, drush, and Drupal configuration management system
  • 3-5 years of relevant and recent Drupal experience and strong ability to build custom Drupal modules
  • Experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment
  • Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Content Types, Taxonomies, Views, etc
  • Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Knowledge of Drupal APIs, PHP, PHP files and theme functions as well as knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
  • Knowledge of various Drupal APIs, coding standards, and best practices
  • Experience investigating, troubleshooting, and remediating issues within Drupal
  • Experience with Git version control, NPM, grunt/gulp

  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
