Regional Manager

Regional Managers for VC3 are responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service is provided to all clients in their region and that the regional office’s business objectives are achieved. This full-time, permanent position will manage the teams within a regional office that provide our clients with strategic technology guidance, technical support, and account management.

We are currently seeking a Regional Manager for our Memphis, Tennessee location.

Here are the position responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to the Service Managers, VCIOs, and Account Managers assigned to the regional office.
  • Ensure regional office staff are successful in establishing and maintaining long-term, healthy relationships with all clients, in addition to satisfying the demands of the Regional Manager’s own client base. This includes the prevention and resolution of all client service issues.
  • Manage and report on key performance indicators and metrics that measure success for the region. This includes both IT metrics (service desk, client satisfaction, etc) as well as business metrics (renewals, churn, revenue, cost and margin, etc).
  • Collaborate with other Regional Managers to ensure consistent operations across all regional offices. Exchange ideas, best practices, and process improvements with other regional offices.
  • Assist in the development and mentoring of VCIOs, Account Managers, Service Managers, and engineers from a career development perspective.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative environment between teams and within your team including ensuring that team outings and other fun events are held.
  • Interface with Account Executives assigned to the region to assist with the sales process.
  • Interface with VC3’s centralized operations, including HR, finance, data center, service desk, application/web development, and project teams.
  • Maintain the correct team headcount, skillset, and pay to meet client promises and achieve business goals for the region.
  • Act as a backup for VCIOs, Account Managers, and Service Managers.
These are the requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, ISQS, engineering, business or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in IT field with at least 4 years of management experience.
  • Skills in leading people and getting results with a strong client orientation.
  • Build and present business justifications for client projects and VC3 process changes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to directly handle and/or oversee numerous tasks simultaneously; with a great attention to detail, and a sense of urgency without compromising quality.
  • Ability to provide high level strategic consulting to clients.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to drive client escalations to quick resolution including determination of root causes and corrective actions.
  • Service awareness of all organization’s key IT services for which support is being provided.
  • Knowledge of IT applications, processes, software, and equipment.
  • Strategic planning skills with an ability to think ahead and plan over a 6-12 month time span.
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.

It would also be great if you had experience with any of these…but if not, we will teach you:

  • ConnectWise
  • Labtech
  • Office 365, including Sharepoint, Exchange and OneDrive
  • Excel
  • Familiarity with the EOS model
And, here is some additional info you will want to know:
  • Travel Requirements: as needed, must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.  Limited overnight travel on a monthly-quarterly basis.
